Who am I?

I am a journalist specializing in sports coverage and community reporting. I cover high school athletics through detailed game stories and features while also reporting on local events and human-interest stories. My goal is to inform readers while highlighting the people and moments that shape a community.

I was born in Romania in 1999 and raised in Los Angeles until 2017, when I attended Santa Barbara City College. I graduated in 2020 moving on to northern California where I attended CSU Monterey Bay. I earned a Bachelors of Arts in Communications and Media Studies in two years. Shortly after, I attended Saint Bonaventure University in upstate New York, where I earned a Masters of Arts in Sports Journalism.

Now, with more than four years of professional writing experience and a background in photography, I focus on sports reporting and community coverage with an emphasis on accuracy and visual storytelling.
